I'm not going to talk about connectivity today because I am annoyed by the fact that I can't write this blog with Opera. I mean I can, but it doesn't work right... how is typing html tags in Opera any different than writing the same thing in IE?

This raises the issue of standards on the internet. I'm torn, on one hand, I think the internet should be free... but the fact is that most people optimize their pages for IE, and that means they don't necessarily work on other browsers. They could, though, the major browsers are not mutually exclusive, which brings us back to standards.

I'll just end by saying, if you can read this, you're using IE.
