Have you seen that Nextel commercial with Romeo and Juliet? I love Shakespeare in almost any form, but it seems they could have done just as well by semaphore as by walkie-talkie. I mean, it worked for Wuthering Heights.

And another one from TV: Why does Don B. Davis show up (granted in some pretty tiny roles) in so many of my favorite shows? And for that matter, why is he in two of them with Richard Dean Anderson?

So here's my first one: Is it possible that I am more likely to buy this dictionary because I happen to like Nigel Tufnel? Are you?

I have decided that my life is about connectivity. Mostly this is because my brain operates on its own personal brand of apophenia fuel. And let's face it, almost everything is connected to almost everything else, even if you don't buy into George Lucas' philosophy. So this is really just me exploring the way those connections play out for me personally, and the weirdness they they engender. And trying to decide if all this connectivity is an expression of entropy, or an antidote to it.
